In the past you recommended the Matrox Compress HD card for fast renders from HD to web-ready files. Is this still the way to go?

It’s still blazing fast although CPU/GPUs are getting faster.

I’ve just installed the Matrox card but I am not seeing the speed increase. I must be doing something wrong. I exported two minutes of a piece with up to 3 video tracks and 6 audio tracks; original video EX Cam 1080i. Using the Matrox presets in compressor with the matching preset in the High Quality folder it took 7 mins to encode. In fast encodes folder You Tube preset 640 x 360 it took 3:45 and the ipod iphone encode took 3:37. Any thoughts?
