  Compressing for 6 hours and barely 1/3 of the way

  Hi all,

  I am working with FCPX and regularly export content without any issues.

  I have been working on a project for a client and now need to get the video online for them. However, compressing via compressor or uploading directly to Vimeo is taking a lifetime and I don’t know why.

  The video is 14 minutes long and is made up mainly of images and text generators. There are a couple of third party photo montage plugins being used too.

  The FCPX project is set to 1280×720 and a rate of 23.4p.

  It has now been compressing for over 6 hours and is only 35% complete. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am cutting the deadline fine.
