is there any way to send my shot out to AE with my objects in layers. like if i have a shot of the camera going around a cube a ball and a cone, can i send it to AE and turn the cube channel off of just put a blur on the ball?

    thank you

Yes, but you have to set up object buffers. What you do is give each object you want separated a compositing tag and then check one of the boxes in the object buffer tab.

Then add the corresponding object buffer passes in the render>multipass settings.

In AE, use the buffer passes as track mattes to separate the objects.
