  • Compositions Running at Different Frame Rates?

Posted by Edward Vosper on June 30, 2015 at 10:02 am

I was wondering if it is posable for a pre-comp in a composition to run at 12 or 8 frames a second, where the main composition will be running at 29.7 .

We are working on a project that has a cross of CG and Cell animation and we are trying to reduce the look of smooth CG animation

Or might there be an other way…?

Any help would be great and I hope I made it clear about what I am asking.

    Kind Regards

    E

Yes. Open the Composition Settings for your 8 fps comp. Click the Advanced tab. Check the box for “Preserve frame rate when nested or in render queue.”
