I was wondering what the difference is between the composition modes SUBTRACT and DIFFERENCE. And what is the difference between DIFFERENCE and DIFFERENCE SQUARED?

An an additional question: what exactly is the composition mode BURN doing (seen from a mathematicalview)?

Excellent question. I found this on the SONY site. Quite straight forward really. But what we have remember that these are the tools to assist us get to our creativity, understanding how we communicate with that is at the bottom of the pile.
