  • Compositing the reflecting light of a spectator screen on to a person

I know this is probably to ambitious but could some one tell me if they think it would be possible to shot a person from a 45 degree angle from behind and light them to sort of simulate what the effect would be as they were in front of a spectator screen at night and then either key or rotoscope the background out and then change the color of the highlights from the real lighting to look like it’s the spectator screen that’s been created in AE & C4D doing the lighting. This would be shot in DV on either a sony PD170 or a sony DSR570.

    Many thanks AP

Why not just play the animation back on a real TV, and use that to light the person while shooting them?

Then roto them out, and composite your screen….Won;t get more realistic than thhat, and probably be a lot easier than trying to simulate it digitally…
