  • Compositing mask path strokes?

I am trying to animate a ribbon. The ribbon is to be red with black edges. I can make this easily by compositing 2 strokes (a wide black under a slightly narrower red) on a single path in a shape layer.

However, I would like to make a mask path to do the same thing (so the ribbon can grow across the screen). Is there any way to composite strokes of a mask path?

    Thank you

You could make a shape layer “grow” by adding a trim paths animator to your shape layer.
