Compositing elements in Photoshop
I’m having problems compositing figures, taken in a ‘studio’, on to a ‘sandy’ beach, and giving the visual
look-and-feel that the original shot was ‘on the beach’. The shadow ‘detail’ and how the sand looks does not
give the impression the figures are ‘really standing on sand’.I’ve tried a couple of ‘shadowing’ methods, but it seems like there’s more needed, perhaps a displacement map with shadowing, etc.
Are there some tutorials on how to composit images with this kind of detail?
