  Composite Canon Log 3 Footage and CG Set Extensions (OpenColor IO / OCIO)

  Hi guys,

  here is my problem:

  I have Canon C300 Mk2 Footage which is in c-log3 (in MXF-Container) and I have to bring it together with CG Set extensions rendered in vray (.exr).

  Since I never really used the color management in AE and I recently learned about OpenColorIO and the ACES implementation I thought this is probably the true path to go.

  I’m in the process of wrapping my head around colorspaces and color managment and would really very much appreciate any advice or help for finding the right workflow and treating the footage the way it is meant to be.
