    I need a little help again 🙂

I am working in vegas pro 10 64 bit and I’m using ACTION ESSENTIALS 2.

When i turn a track into add, and then shrinks my object(cracks, holes etc.) on the track down, the rest off the screen look really funky (strange colors). but the object and a square around it looks just fine.
Does anybody know how to fix that??

And another question, what other packs like ACTION ESSENTIALS is available on the marked? I’m not really sure for to search for.

Sorry i meant overlay not add!!
Specific its the cracks (ACTION ESSENTIALS 2) I need to add to the ground on another video.

The only way so far has been to chromakey out the gray. But it dont looks that great.

Right click the media and chose an Alpha mode, I use premultiplied. Composite mode will not get you where you want to go.

Just tried that, and it works great with blod, but nothing happens when I use the cracks And holes textures (Action Essentials 2), witch has a gray background. I tried to change the colour og the alpha cannel to the same grey.

    What to do??

The textures are .png files with alpha. All mine come up with the checkerboard transparency on the timeline with out having to do anything.

    EDIT

Ok that was only the bullet holes the others are .jpg files

I think you would use the grey files as a bump map on top of what ever your base texture is.

    Okay:)
I will try that, but you have to tell me, how you do it ,cause i dont know what you mean or how to do it. Its all new to me but im learning fast.

Thanks for the help so far 🙂

Try Screen mode. That should work better.

Screen mode makes the grey white transparent , and i need to keep it totally transparent. Is there any other way?

Without seeing a screen shot of the raw media that you are trying to composite, it’s impossible to say.

Sorry for not being clear but I meant a screenshot of the media that you are trying to composite, not the composited effect. What does the media look like before you composite it?
