Running composer 5.5 demo on my Mac Pro 1,1 with dual monitors hooked up to a Radeon 5770. For some reason MC wants to run on the secondary monitor. I can rearrange the layout, but hitting home moves the source/record to the other screen. How do I get it to default to the other monitor, and not switch over when I press home cmd+, ?

Also, in the old MC 8000 days when I learned composer (before FCP), there was a command to make the sequence window full height, and lose the source/record windows. Leaving just the source/record scrub bars at the top. Great for audio mixing. Is that still around?

have you tried arranging them how you like, then “save current” in the toolset menu, when on source record option?

it might not help with the startup thing, but will allow you to pop back to how you want it.

not sure about the other command you mentioned… it does sound cool though… maybe still hiding there. i’ll look for it
