Component out of Panasonic 1200a…
I can’t seem to get a component signal out of the 1200a sent to my Sony PVM-20M4U monitor.
I just gives me a black screen with “digital” white snow.
Is the Component out ONLY and HD signal? Is that my problem? Or is there something else I’m missing?
I’ve been through the manual, but I’m still not having any luck.
Anyone?

The analog component is HD only. The built in downconversion feature of the 1200 outputs only in “composite” standard definition 480i. There is an optional AJ-YA120AG board that will output SDI standard definition.
