  component input & FCP – not working…..

  hi all!

  trying to capture via fcp with my decklink sp from a beta deck using component in and getting no signal in the fcp capture window. i’m doing something wrong – probably silly.

  i have:

  1 – set in the decklink system setting interface that i want yrb input (even re-booted to ensure the setting was ‘set’)
  2 – downloaded the latest software for 10.3.8 (i have that OS version installed btw)
  3 – easy setup in fcp for 8bit and also tried 10 bit (blackmagic easy setup that is – not apple or FCP).

  now – here’s the thing – it IS working as the decklink capture tool is FINE and have captured some clips this way – and actually could continue this way as well. so it IS setup correctly as far as decklink is concerned and the yrb output on the beta is working and connected correctly. also the rs422 remote is in and i’m getting TC in BOTH the decklink capture window and the FCP capture window – just no video signal in FCP.

  but – i’m doing something wrong for sure. also – even though i have no pic in the capture window in fcp – i DID try to just capture now just to see if it’s comming in anyway – but no. i’m running fcphd with 10.3.8 (as stated above) g5 2.7
