    Hello.

    I was tasked with 2D work, an area where I am a complete newbie, so I have to ask professionals.

    This is the scene:

    As you can see, things like Clone Brush etc would fail, since the paralax is pretty crazy.

    I managed to track the scene quite well:

    But the question is: what now? How can I use that tracking information to my advantage? I already have a cleaned up plate done in Photoshop, but how do I “project” it onto the wall?

    Here’s a simpler way that may work: duplicate video layer, cut a tight mask around the cable on the top layer, feather the edges, shift the layer underneath a few pixels (you may need to resize a bit too. Play with the mask edge and feather. I have used this technique several times and it worked great.
