    Quick question: If a friend of mine is editing a project on Windows Premiere Pro CS 5.5, can he bring a hard drive to me and can I open and edit it on my Mac with Premiere Pro CS 5.5?

    Yes. There are a couple (cheesy?) transitions that are Win-only, but everything else will work.
