    Hi,

I am trying to get feedback on what is the best way to go for our monitoring and Deck Control Cards for Final Cut.

We are looking at choosing between the Blackmagic Decklink Studio PCI-e card and the AJA Kona LHE or the Aja IO HD Breakout Box.

I was looking for some feedback on which is the best to go with for out situation. We are looking at getting 4, 8 or 12 core Final Cut systems, that need to have the ability to monitor in both SD and HD as well as lay to and digitize from BETA tape when neccessary and on DV very rarely. We mostly shoot on Panasonic HVX-200’s using P2 and are comtemplating a DSLR, probably Canon 60D, in the future. There is also a good possibility of using a Cal Digit Supershare in this mix or something similar.

Just curious of other experiences with these cards and positives and negatives using them with Final Cut Pro, not neccessarily in the same setup that we are looking, just looking for info Thanks.

I’ve used BM card but a multibridge, works fine for me as I’m working with different formats at a time. for full HD you need raid arrays… I’ve good experience with multibridg,
