    Hi Allan,

I’m guessing that would work or another option would be to use the DeckLink HD Studio card to capture component analog video directly from your camera and then monitor it via the HDMI output of the DeckLink HD Studio.

If you are wanting to output to HD-SDI decks but also want HDMI monitoring, then the Multibridge Pro would be worth considering. It will capture HD component analog and you can then output HD component analog as well as HD-SDI and HDMI. We’ve got a number of different products that may be of interest depending upon what you want to do with the captured media.

    Regards,

I have been looking at the exact same combination of hardware! I have the smaller Sony cam with an HDMI connector and access to a GY-HD100u. If the Sony can’t produce the images that I need… then the plan was to convert the HD100’s component out to HDMI.

Since the Intensity card has been delayed until mid-November we will have to wait a few more weeks.
I would like to see some sample footage from the Intensity card if anyone has some…

    ryan.
