It seems like there are a ton of posts on here from prople looking for rendering settings for common file type. Is the a post or “cheat sheet” somewhere that lists all of the most common project file types and their render settings?
    Thanks

This forum or the help file can point you in the right direction. It all depends on what it will be viewed on and what will be playing it. Look through the render as, selections and some presets are self explanitory. What camera do you have and where do you want your videos played?

    Canon 7D.
Looking for a common output for commercials that TV stations will accept.

Unfortunately there is no common denominator.
You need to contact each station and found out what their specific requirements are.

Yea, as Mike said, each TV station will dictate what they accept. If you are submitting HD, some broadcasters (like PBS) will only accept HDCAM so you’ll need to pay a 3rd part post house to create the tape for you and then they will dictate what formats they will accept for making the HDCAM tape.
