    Hello everyone.

I have been trying to figure out how to do this effect for a long time now. I don’t really know how to describe it other than “combining two shots”

This video I have will explain what I’m trying to do, but the video doesn’t really explain how to do it. It’s a Freddiew2 video and the part I am talking about starts at 4:34

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiiT8UtpbuM (starts at 4:34)

    Anyways, thanks for the help!

This is a simple wipe, where the edge of the wipe is exactly on the right side of the door.
Now you need to keyframe it, as the door does not open in a very lineair way.
In AE you would create a mask, where only the slighly diagonal line of the right side of the door is imporant.
Keyframe it (frame by frame if you must) to let it stick to the edge of the door and you’re done.
