Combining projects in Vegas 12 : video effects not applied?
Hi,
I’m working on a big project with a lot of video effects. I’ve cut it in 10 smaller 10 min sequences to have lighter and workable projects.
The problem is : How to render all these segments in one big final file without any quality loss?
So I tried to use the combining projects technique (https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/24/916198) but Vegas do not take account of video effects while rendering…
What’s the best solution to resolve this problem?

Rendering your Nested projects should not be an issue, there is no
quality loss involved either.Steve Rhoden

When I’m opening the .veg files (unrendered) to combine them in the new project, the video effects I used in the original project are disabled. Clips with effects appears black…
But maybe I don’t understand well the Nesting concept or how to render without quality loss.
I hope I’m explaining myself right : english is not my first language…

Simply import them into vegas as you would a normal video
file and organize them accordingly on the timeline, then render.Or simply render out each piece separately and then line them
back up on the vegas timeline and do one final render, there is
no need to be overly concerned about quality loss, most
occasions its not visible to the human eyes.Steve Rhoden
