    Hey Everyone

I’m working on a character animation in Cinema 4D and am having trouble figuring out how to combine the animation I want the character to have before the Cmotion automation begins. If I offset the animation to a later frame, I seem to lose control of any of the handles in the controller. And any controllers on the rig for that matter.

Is there a way to keep everything from moving and be able to keyframe some movements earlier and then have the Cmotion automation begin later?

I read somewhere that you can bake the animation, but I want to be able to tweak and keyframe during the animation too. And the character needs to be able to begin the Cmotion automation from a certain pose.

Are there any good options for me here?

    Thanks so much in advance!
