    hey there,

    i’ve made subclips of my video source file and organzized them into bins/folders. i also have sound files and would like to sync and attach them with the video – what is the best way to do this?

    using fcp 4.5hd, osx 10.3.9…

    thanks!

    Hi. I’m also syncing audio and video, for the first time in FCP – I usually work with Avid. Did you find out the best way to do it?

    I know you can use the “merge” function if you already have divided the video into takes. But I think it is usually better to capture the whole video tape in one clip, insert it into a new sequence, do the synking – and then make subclips of the takes. This way you’ll already have a convenient preview of all the material from that tape.

    Problem is I haven’t found in FCP a way to make sub-sequences into sub-clips!

    Have you got any ideas?
    Lars.
