column of light or volume light from text?
Hello I’m trying to do this effect making a column of light rise up from some text. Sort of like this.

Looks like Trapcode Lux could probably do it. If not, you could try Trapcode 3D Stroke, with the repeater on. Maybe Zaxwerks Invigorator could do it, with blur …?
This sort of thing is best done within a 3D app, in my opinion. Volumetric lighting.
