colour management workflow – AE -> FCP
I am working on a project between Final Cut Pro and After Effects using pro-res (normal quality) footage at 1080 25p.
When I make a comp in AE the footage appears to be brighter – as if AE has converted the colour profile (perhaps to adobe RGB??).
How can I render this footage out of AE so that the colour brightness range is as close to the original footage as possible – e.g. to colour match when slotting it back into an FCP sequence

You didn’t say which ProRes codec you were talking about or which versions of the applications you’re using, so I’ll take a guess and point you to this article for ProRes 4444 and CS4:
