    Hi all,
Now that I’ve been using AE for a while I figure I should understand all this legal colour stuff. I’ve got the Meyer book and I’ve searched the forums….but there is just SO many different things. Now I’ve never actually noticed my colours being illegal but maybe our Pinnalce Liquid fixes it for us? Basically our vision is shot digiBeta, captured into Pinnacle Liquid Silver, exported to AE as a quicktime animation, AE work is done, render as quicktime animation, playout to digiBeta from Liquid. Can someone point me towards a book/web or anything that describes how to use scopes etc to make my projects legal.

argh….I’ll read the meyer chapter again.

cheers – I will get that plug.

What’s all this about different codecs doing different things to levels. In partivular come codecs changing your vision to 16-235, some not. I always use animation codec cause my spots are so short.

Can you point me towards some more reading? or does scopio come with any? I really want to understand what I’m doing technically.
