Colour Bleed Bar/Overlay thing
Hey I want to try and get like a bar of colour to move across my footage, in photoshop what i would do is make a big rectangle blur it set it to multiply and then could animate that to go across back and forth with tweening, can i do this i After effects at all? I see it done on various music videos that are shot in a sort of lomographic style. I think its generally on tape cameras where the light burns a part of the tape just want to simulate that

use fractal blob, then fill color, set as screen, add, or multiply. If you want, I have a template for all this stuff, it’s called lightleaks.
