Colors don’t match after import in Premiere
Hi,
I’ve got a problem in Premiere. When I import my videos, they look very unsaturated in Premiere and the picture is globaly different than my originals medias.
I think it could be a color space issue. It’s easy to set it up in After (Project settings > color space) but I can’t find anything like this in Premiere…
Someone knows ? 🙂

No t’s a XAVC-S (H264) coming from Sony A6500.

how are u previewing them? quicktime
uses wrong gamma. if you set vlc to openGl output, it will match premiere for rec.709. or you can get the slog2/3

I think it’s not a quicktime problem. When I color grade a rush in Resolve then render it, the result is exactly the same in quicktime than the Resolve monitor during the grade. But when I import this color graded rush in Premiere the color problem is also here.
– DaVinci Resolve color space project is set to DaVinci YRGB
– Mediainfo says that the rush rendered is in YUVIs that normal?

is enable fcp legacy in resolve checked? are you using video 16-235 or full 0-255? is nvidia control panel set to 0-255? how does it look with vlc?

Sorry but I can’t find the checkbox “enable fcp legacy” on the Resolve 14 settings…? Where can I see if I use video in 16-235 or 0-255?
Also, I don’t have the nvidia control panel, i’m on mac. And for VLC, the picture looks oversaturated than in resolve… -
are you using video or full range?
in color managements settings->use mac display color profile for viewers
