July 26, 2019 at 12:35 amThe many presets I had saved in the ColorFX window are gone. The base presets are still there. I’ve made no recent changes to my OS or updated anything lately. Running M100 v2.1.7 with Mac OS 10.11.6
A few years ago this happened and I was able to restore them. Can someone refresh my memory on how to get these saved ColorFX preferences back.
Thanks for your help!!

July 26, 2019 at 3:23 pmHello Larry.
Did you solve this yet?
I shared the question on the Facebook Group and Jaeson Koszarsky chipped in with the following:
Media100 stores some information in the Library/Application Support/Media 100 folder on the system drive. Try restoring effects info from a time machine backup.
Searching this forum, I also see back in 2015, Floh wrote:
You should find it in YourHomeFolder->Library->Preferences->Media 100 Suite Preferences->Media 100 ColorFX Sets. This is a single file containing all your saved ColorFX presets.
The full context of that thread is here: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/4/867875#867876I’m running an older MacOS (10.9.5) so it may be somewhere else on your system, yet this is where I found mine:
Obviously if you’ve lost your presets, it may not be there, =S. But if you have a backup of the file from a hard drive back up, putting your former preset file in that folder, may bring your former presets back. The Library folder can sometimes be hidden on modern MacOS, so you may need to toggle showing the library folder.

July 26, 2019 at 3:59 pmAndrew thanks for sharing my request with the facebook group.
My issue solved itself!
I restarted the computer twice, and nothing changed. But the opening and closing of two different projects in someway kicked the ColorFX preferences back into sync and now everything is in the window….INCLUDING the new ones I had created when I could only see the base set. Very strange indeed.
Many thanks for reaching out, you’re an awesome resource!
