Colorfast in real time
Hi guys,
Should I be able to monitor colorfast colour corrections in real time on the timeline. I am using win7 64 bit on i7 950@3.07, 8 gig of ram with 3 7200 sata drives. I was trying to use colorfast with an nvidia gtx460 but it kept crashing Vegas 11.Upgraded to a quadro 4000 last week. (Driver v 8.17.12.960)Vegas is not crashing anymore but playback freezes on a clip with colorfast as an event effect. I am not using multiple instances of colorfast and the projects just contain 2 video tracks with matching audio. Any advice would be appreciated.

I think you’re asking for a lot of ‘on-the-fly’ processing. I generally do all my color correction and visual traetment, then click the split-screen view and select-all to disable the viewing of plugins while I edit and cut.
You can turn them back on at any time to see what a particular edit would be like.
I have 12-real cores and I don’t get full speed smoothness when using plugins that effect full frames.
