color shift from photoshop to fcp
I have been noticing a problem recently where a color that I export from photoshop shows up lighter in fcp.
For example, pantone 289 is a dark blue color in photoshop, but when i bring it into fcp it seems to shift to a lighter blue.
Any ideas? -

This happens because your Photoshop file is RGB and you are converting it to YUV in FC.
You can try set a sequence with an RGB codec and set “Render in RGB” or choose a codec that makes a better RGB> YUV conversion.

i’ve actually tried both those options and still get the same results.
