color not going to FCP right!
I Took an Avid AAF – Imported it with media into FCP via Automatic Duck. Media Managed the sequence to create proper QTM Movies (Pro Res 422) Sent to Color – Graded and Rendered, then sent back to FCP – FCP says its importing the XML but links back to the original files rather than the rendered graded files. Haven’t had this happen for a while!
Any Idea why?
I’m re digitising the original sequence via edl/Batch Digitise – Does any one know how import CC works? Does it use clip names or the number of the shot?

Import CC? What are you talking about?
FCP is using clip names for connection to media files. The renders created by Color have names assigned to them by Color when they are rendered BTW… and once sent back to FCP the new sequence should reference these renders of course… ALL clips with grades done in Color must be rendered though first.
