I’m a long time photoshop user but am still relatively new to Illustrator. I’m designing a logo that needs to be matte black, but my the strokes and fills on my paths don’t all appear to be the same color of black, even though I am clearly choosing black from the swatches. It looks like the way black in a cmyk image appear different on a computer monitor than black in an rgb document if you’re looking at them side by side. For the life of me I cannot figure out what the heck is happening here. Help!

Edit: Ok I think it has something to do with the “registration” color in the swatches. However, all I see in the swatches is none and registration, and when I try to open a swatch library is just opens up elsewhere instead of in the fill and stroke color pulldowns.
