Color Key better in Motion or After Effects?
Hi
I need to do a fiddly color key (not green screen or blue screen – its a sunset sky) and have been playing around in Motion and getting an ok key, but needs a bit more.
Is it worth me downloading a trial version of After Effects and seeing if this gets me a better key, or would I just be wasting my time and bandwidth and I should continue persisting with Motion?

Keying is not a core specialty of Motion nor Color. For robust 2d vfx- yeah you want AFX, Shake, Nuke, etc.
