    Hello,

I color graded Sony S-Log2 footage using Koji plugin in Premiere.

The colors look great through the Premiere monitor, but when I export the video (MP4 H264) and open it with Quicktime, it looks completly washed out…

VLC has however the same result than the render in Premiere.

I tried to put it on Youtube to see and the result is the same than in Quicktime.. 🙁

The first image is the render in Premiere. The second the result in Quicktime after export.

I guess is a gamma curve problem, how can i do to get the same result everywhere ?

    Thanks a lot.

Do not use Quicktime. It’s infamously inaccurate. Also you can’t control how it’s being shown between different browsers, services and operating systems.

I don’t think it’s about monitor calibration… I tried on differents one and the difference is on both – same washed look.

I didn’t say it’s about calibration. It’s about the different video services that use different players that look different in different browsers on different operating systems.

You have no control over this.
