I’m trying to figure out the best way to get a multi-layered PSD file with a color gradient applied to the text to work in Media Composer. At the moment, the color gradient is on the top layer and is applied as a layer mask to the text layers below. I need to either apply the color gradient separately to each layer in PSD and export that, or find a way to apply the color gradient to the text layers using a key or matte filter in Media Composer. I have been unable to figure out a good way to execute this. See an example below of what the graphics look like. Groups of words are on separate layers so that I will be able to animate them separately.
