I’m looking for good books or articles on color correction. I edit mostly corporate work, but recently have added a cable broadcast weekly to my routine. I understand the basics of creating safe color/luminance graphics, but am looking for deeper understanding of legal limits for the video portion of my broadcast work. Never know when I may have to do a PBS show :->

There’s a lot of books out there on color correction. Steve Hullfish and I wrote one a few years back, “Color Correction for Digital Video”, and it seems to be a fave among some professionals. It covers broadcast signal and a variety of other aspects of CC’ing. It’s definitely geared more toward the professional video editor than it is to, say, a full time colorist. If you want to read more about it, try typing “Color Correction” in a search on Amazon.
