  • color correction problem when moving project between machines

    Hi,

I have a problem whereby when I move my project from my studio to my clients’ the color correction changes (it appears to be the basic input LUT mostly). The media and project are all on a portable drive which I just plug in to either computer.

What’s going on here? Please help!!

    Thanks.

If the media/project/effects are the same then the only thing would be that the monitors aren’t calibrated.

Thanks Tero but the LUT in the drop down menu had actually changed – in this case from an ARRI Amira setting to an Arri Alexa, and the look was wildly different. It has happened every time I’ve moved suites.

The monitors in both locations are well matched.

Are you certain both machines are running the exact same
version of premiere? (and both pc or both mac, not one pc one mac)

    That shouldn’t be happening.
