    hello 🙂

what is the best way to set my monitor colors (bright, cotrast…) to mach the picture that i have on the computer screen, in other words, if i want to make color correction how do i set my monitor/TV first?
(no i dont have victorscop or any other professional stuff other than my TV and a monitor, oh and xpress pro 5.5.3)

which brings the question … where is the waveform that we used to have in old ver. of avid ? in the output tool , i dont see it anymore…. maybe it was in th emedia composer !!!! i don’t know

Try this article called “Calibrating Video Monitors” written up by the guys at Synthenic Aperture the makers of Color Finesse color correction software.

    https://www.synthetic-ap.com/tips/index.html

It has the proper procedure to calibrate your monitors.

Which Avid software are you using? Should be under Tools, Video Output. It’s analog outputs only (composite, component, s-video). If you don’t have a Mojo you’re probably not going to have it.
