Color Correct specific spots of video
Posted by Erin Rakestraw on October 21, 2011 at 9:57 pmI have a video where the woman’s face is very red and she broke out in hives. The client would like me to bring the red down, but is there a way to adjust a specific color of the video without changing the rest of the background?

October 21, 2011 at 10:07 pmHow about a plugin that deals with facial blemishes?

And yes, you can bring down ONLY the red if you use the LIMIT EFFECT of the 3-way color corrector. Or use a secondary in Color and target only the face. Or do the same thing with Colorista 2.

October 21, 2011 at 10:22 pmYou can also just bring down the reds with the 3-way color corrector.
And/Or
Double up the layer, mask out the area (user feather also) in need of a fixin and apply color correction to that.
