Color (colour for the Brits!) palette freezing in Motion 3
Hi folks,
I’ve been working with Motion 3 and have a problem where I bring up the colour palette which seems to freeze up every time I make a change – meaning I have to save and then restart the programme.
If anyone could offer advice on how to resolve it I’d be very grateful to you!
Oh – forgot to mention that I’m on OS X 10.6.4 on a 2.16 iMac with 3 gig of RAM (getting a Mac Pro in a couple of months!). I don’t think it is the spec of the machine because it chugs away through everything I do in FCS without any issues (other than long rendering times I guess!).

Look for how to delete the preferences of motion via google. This is always the first step to fix any problem with motion. Literary type how to delete the preferences of motion, or troubleshooting apple motion. Delete the preferences whic is in preference folder and then redraft motion, that should fix the problem. Best of luck.

Ah thanks Zak – I didn’t think of preferences. I was Googling ‘colour palette problems’ etc so the preferences thing is a much better search term!
