    Hello.

    I’ve used R16 and upgraded to R17 recently and found this problem. Color (or maybe gamma) of active view rendered image and actual standard rendered image are different.

    In addition, viewport via OpenGL also seems too bright or too dark sometimes. I tried opening same file in R16, there is no difference. It only happened on R17.

    Could anyone help me to solve this issue? Many thanks.

    haven’t seen anything that large – can you post the scene file?

    I am not seeing this. I rendered in the viewport and to the picture viewer in both R17 and R18 and the images have the same brightness in all 4 images.

    Thank you for testing. That sound really confuse me. I also found no difference in R16, but R17. At first I suspected Nvidia driver but it shows same result with most recent driver or old version. Also tried reinstall R17, sadly no luck.

    Hopefully someone may know what is going on 🙁

    your version of R17 is the same as mine (17.055) so no difference there. The graphics drivers shouldn’t affect rendering and while sometimes there is a difference in the viewport and picture viewer they are usually not light brightness…
    Maybe try rendering with only one light at a time to see if there is a difference with all lights or only one (or some). (I like the look of Light and Light.3 by themselves for what it’s worth)
