    Hi everyone,

here are few questions that I couldn’t find the answer in the manual:

1- are the color bars in the generator tab at 75% or 100% ?
2-PAL has 2 types of bars are those the same ? (one looks like NTSC with pluge under the red) or is that a PAL requirement or just to calibrate the NTSC or PAL monitors ?
3-anybody found the slow motion solution ?. it’s not as smooth as used to be.

    Thank you

Use Motion 3 to perform the slow motions. If you don’t have it, upgrade. It’s worth every dime. Uses Optical Flow technology. very cool indeed.

If you can’t buy it, try whole number slow motion settings… ala 50% but not 49.87% etc…. whole numbers…

In the Generator pop up I see bars specifically for PAL… you don’t?

    Thanks Jerry,

I see the color bars. I want to know are they set at 75% or 100% values. There is no indication in manual. I need to put in front of a program and I want to make sure I place the right ones.

Thank you for the Motion 3 advise. I got full FCS 2 since day 1. I’m used to apply slow motion directly in timeline and was acceptable and now jitters too much.

    Thank you

Look at your waveform monitor, that should answer your question. The Motion 3, time remapping works great for slow motion.
