I’m wondering if anyone knows of a way to apply a clip color to every clip within a folder (containing multiple bins). I’d like to do this on a project with thousands of SFX clips inside many many bins, and it’s not practical to open each one up and color them all manually. My hope is that there’s a way to do this at the finder level with some kind of script. Anyone have thoughts on this one? Thanks in advance.

Not that I know of. MC does not easily allow for scripting. Clip color is at the metadata level in the bin, not at the essence level at the directory level. Even ALE exports don’t support Color. The column is annoyingly there, but there is no value. AAF might be able to do it but there is no real mechanism for AAF export to batch export for each clip (well there used to be something called AFE that sort of did).
