so i’ve been been reviewing some of the under-the-hood stuff for my editing programs, and had some general questions
In final cut pro x, i’ve collected a wide variety of titles, transitions, effects and what final cut refers to as generators, and various presets/customizations of these things. Since i’m doing more corporate work now, which i have primarily done in final cut, I’d like to get my premiere setup in the same shape. that is, loaded with a bunch of titles, transitions, effects, and animated motion icons/graphics packs.
I’m looking to get a better understanding of how premiere manages theses things. the majority of the things i see appear to be after effects templates, where the user would then dynamic link back to premiere or export to desired codec. it seems some other companies, such as fxfactory, have plugins that help manage these things. some appear to also just be customized titles in premiere pro projects that i would open separately.
Can anyone recommend a good read or video on how premiere pro manages effects, titles and transitions, and some good site recommendations to build my library of assets? thanks!
