Collapse transformation and generate stroke effect problem
Hello, everybody!
Short introduction: I’m a newbie in After Effects. ???? End of introduction.
I made a very simple logo with Adobe Illustrator and I imported the .ai file into After Effects in order to create a very short animation.
Following the link, you can see what I did:
(I know is quite short and fast, but I wanted to have a very light size video in order to upload it fast. Sorry! ????)
https://youtu.be/94UTK9PUWvUThe hook symbol is revealed by a generate stroke effect applied to a mask and the letters H, O and K are revelead by simple squared masks. Obviously the problem appear when the logo scale up: if I switch the collapse transformation button on (I used a precomposition for reveal the logo and then the main composition for the scale up and down) the hook symbol appears deformed following the mask shape I used in order to reveal it.
Obviously the problem doesn’t pop up if I switch the collapse transformation button off. I know the problem is the After Effects render order, but my question is: is there a way to create that type of scale up and scale down after a reveal effect without losing the image quality of a vector file?
Thanks in advance for advice, tips or whatever.
P.S. I’m italian so… sorry if my english is quite…potato! ????
