Collaboration Project Sharing
I’m working with some friends/freelancers on different projects. We often need to transfer files to one another in order to review changes, but we want a high speed file transfer because any delays can make simple decisions painstakingly slow. Anybody know of any hot folder type setups that will automate file transfers and allows us to monitor file transfers? This would let us share quickly without having to continually message each other or be afraid of deleting something that hasn’t been transferred successfully. Feeling a bit desperate, maybe it’s the the summer heat getting to me, but any and all ideas are appreciated!

Apparently there is a whole version control system in Adobe Bridge with Adobe Experience Manager (which I’ve never used). It seems almost impossible to find an explanation of how it is set up and works, but looks to be simple to use once set up. Even though you guys are freelancers, it sounds like you need a professional level file transfer system if you are working on a lot of time sensitive stuff. I’d recommend you look into some managed file transfer or express file transfer software solutions. Many of these are paid software, but if I come across some free or cheap options I’ll paste in the links.
