Codec problem

March 3, 2011 at 3:57 pmSorry I didn’t get back to you on your original post. You said you were using the Canon XM2 which shoots PAL DV so it may not be a codec problem unless you have installed some other DV codec on your system that is causing Vegas to render black frames. Do you have any Nero products on your PC? Nero has been known to interfere with DV rendering in the past.

March 3, 2011 at 4:41 pmI’m afraid I’m out of ideas. This is something you may have to contact Sony support for. It makes no sense that your crossfades would render as blank frames but the rest of the file renders fine.
