closed captioning questions
Two questions:
1) Is it possible to use central european letters in closed captioning?
2) Is it possible to change fonts and disable black background in closed captioning? -

2) Afaik, fonts are not supported, but you can change background’s color (but i’m not expert in CC!)
3) Subtitles (eg. DVD subtitles) do not have these drawbacks

Fonts and the character set are hard-coded in the receiver or player.
