close gap closes the wrong gap
Can anyone help me with a little annoyance, that keeps happening? I place my crusor in the middle of a gap and hit the close gap sequence, and then sometimes the previous gap get closed instead of the the one where I am placed.

Per, this is a known bug in Final Cut Pro 7 that is fixed in FCP 7.0.3: https://support.apple.com/kb/TS2521
Obviously, if you’re in the middle of a project, now is not the time to update FCP! But whenever you have some downtime and can handle the (small) amount of risk, try updating to FCP 7.0.3 and the bug should go away.

There’s no reason to fear the update to 7.0.3, but if you do have fear, just clone your system drive, then do the update.
