I’m working on a Premiere Pro 5.03 project and had completed it and was sending it to Adobe Encore for authoring. All of my source clips for the project were in the media browser and in my source panel. Then, all of a sudden, when I see the timeline appear in Encore..there is no video. When I went back to Premiere, indeed, the clips (it was a multicam project) were replaced by A RED “OFFLINE” screen. When i go to the clips in the source panel, the status is “offline.” Is there any way to get the clips “online” so they appear in my timeline?? Can’t understand what i might have done, but I didn’t delete the clips…they are still there. My timeline just doesn’t see them. Help…please…and thanks.

When I use proxies for high-res footage and am finished editing, I delete the proxies and so everything becomes offline. But just highlight all of the offline footage in the project panel, right-click, select “Link Media,” and select the file and Premiere should automatically (if everything’s in the same folder) restore all of the offline footage.

I’ve never used Encore and don’t know the specifics on your project so maybe this is bad advice, but have you considered just exporting a high-res video through Premiere rather than linking your entire project to Encore?

    Hope this helps.
